My girlfriend purchased the new Diamond Black Ice for me in july after
my other bow blew up on me while shooting it. I had 2 weeks to get ready
for this hunt, I practiced with it everyday, until the season began. I was
sitting on a water hole and this buck snuck in on me, he was watering 28
yards away, quartering to me, I wanted to wait until he turned broadside
before I shot. When he finally turned, I drew back and settled my pin
behind the shoulder, and squeezed the trigger. The arrow passed through the
buck and stuck in the dirt behind him before he realized what had happened.
The buck ran 60 yards and fell about ten yards from where my buck did last
year.
